An electrician must also be aware of their ability to complete certain tasks on time.

Self-discipline and the ability to create a schedule and stick to it are key to delivering what was promised. Communication skills are also important for electricians. They must be able to interact with customers, architects, contractors, managers, and crews. Customer service is essential as it can lead to new business based on customer satisfaction.
